If the camera does not open

  1. If diScanner asks for Camera access, choose Open Settings and enable it.
  2. Finish any camera activity in other apps and try again.
  3. Test the device’s Camera app. If that also fails, restart the device and retry.
  4. If the scanner still closes or fails, note your device model, system version, and whether you started from the bottom scan button or Add pages when contacting support.

If page edges or text are unclear

  • Put the page on a plain surface with a contrasting color.
  • Hold the device parallel to the paper and keep its corners visible.
  • Avoid glare and shadows. Clean the lens if captures look hazy.
  • Use manual capture and review the corners when automatic detection is unreliable.

For readable scans with uneven gray backgrounds, Adjust page → Enhance offers Whiten background. It cannot restore detail that was blurred or cut off during capture. Saving adjustments requires Pro.
