You can reuse a saved handwritten signature or draw a new one. Saving the signed page requires Pro.

Add and position a signature

  1. Open the PDF and select the page you want to sign.
  2. Tap Signature, next to the page’s menu.
  3. Choose a saved signature, or choose New signature, draw it, and tap Done.
  4. In the page editor, drag the signature to the correct position. Use its handles to resize or rotate it.
  5. Tap Done in the editor to save the page. If a Pro screen appears, complete the purchase or restore an existing purchase to save.
  6. Review the page before exporting it.

You can also open Edit and use the signature and stamp tools there. Select an existing signature before changing or deleting it. Use Undo if a change is not what you intended.

Reuse and export

Saved signatures are available for later documents. Placing one on a page does not automatically place it on the other pages.

Choose Export PDF (merged annotations) when you want the signature included in the page’s appearance. Export PDF (editable annotations) keeps supported annotations separately editable in compatible PDF apps.

Check the signature’s page, size, and placement in the exported file. A handwritten signature annotation is not a certificate-based digital signature.
